Creature Connections Pet Care Services, LLC is hiring pet sitters.

Requirements Include:

1. Professional and/or volunteer animal care experience and at least 4 references (prefer pet sitting experience)
2. Must live in service area (Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster, Broomfield, Arvada and Denver).
3. Must have reliable vehicle and a cell phone
4. Must be reliable, trustworthy and honest
5. Must have a true love of animals
6. Must be available to work most holidays
7. Must be at least 21 years old

Important Information: Pet Sitters do not work in an office and DO NOT have set hours; they often have clusters of visits throughout the day. Most pet sitting visits are in 30 minute increments, however, one hour visits are also scheduled. Pet sitting assignments vary and all sitters must be open to last minute changes in their schedule. Pet sitting requires the ability to lift heavy items and walk large breed dogs. You must be able to meet the physical requirements of pet sitting. Pet sitting takes place 7 days a week, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Please let us know when you're available in your online application and we will see if you're availability meets our needs. Due to a high volume of applicants we will not be able to respond to all applicants.

Pet Sitting Positions:

Job 1A: Pet Sitter

• Pet sitters do not work in an office or have set hours; they have clusters of visits throughout the day.
  
• Most pet sitting visits are in 30 minute increments with occasional one hour visits or one hour dog walks.
  
• Number of visits scheduled each day varies and can fluctuate between 3 visits and 10 visits per day.
  
• The ideal candidate can be available on most holidays.
  
• Indicate you're availability on the online application as pet sitting visits take place seven days a week between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.
  

Job 2A: Overnight Pet Sitter

• Must be available on various days to spend the night at the client’s home


• Overnights are for 12 hours, approximately 8 p.m. through 8 a.m. or 7 p.m. through 7 a.m.


• Availability is confirmed with overnight sitter prior to scheduling


• Sitter can not be accompanied by a person or pet during the overnight stay.


• One pet sitter is assigned per booking, therefore you must be available for consecutive nights including weekends and weekdays.


• The ideal candidate will be available to provide overnights on select holidays.
  
• Please indicate in your application whether or not you are available for mid-day visits and on what days you are available.

PLEASE NOTE: Creature Connections is open to hiring animal lovers who have little experience but can demonstrate a true love and compassion for pets such as cats and dogs. Creature Connections will take special consideration to applicants with any of the following experience or attributes:

• Experience administering medications


• Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants and those with training in pet first aid


• Training or experience with dog behavior and/or handling


• Volunteer for a humane society or animal related non profit
