Meet The Sitters:

Owner:

Michelle moved to Colorado at the end of 2006 and started working at Louisville Family Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician.  She was looking for a side job and stumbled upon Creature Connections Pet Care Services, who were hiring.  She applied and started sitting in May of 2007. She enjoyed pet sitting so much that when the former owner offered her to take over running the company she jumped at the chance. Michelle has been the owner of Creature Connections, LLC since September of 2008.  She is still working part time in Louisville as a vet tech, since she loves taking care of animals in the medical aspect as well as in their own homes. Michelle graduated from Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas May of 2006 with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technology.  She passed her national and state board tests to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.  She keeps up her certification by completing the required continuing education each year.  Michelle is also a member of Pet Sitters International and the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians. Her and her husband, Tony, share their home with their 6 year old rescued mixed dog named Herbie.  Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors, running, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Robbie

Robbie retired from Colorado University seven years ago and moved to Broomfield to be closer to her brother and his family.  She was a "foster parent" at the Humane Society of Boulder County for eight years, fostering over 400 cats and kittens during that time.  Fostering was so much fun and very rewarding, but a little dangerous for her, as she had trouble taking the "special needs" animals back and ended up adopting them herself.  She has had the privileged of being a real mom to twelve cats and one collie over her lifetime and has loved every minute of it.  Robbie has worked for Creature Connections for over three years and enjoys the wonderful clients who allow her to come into their homes to walk, play, and cuddle their four-legged babies.  When she is not working, she travels as much as she can overseas and in the United States.
