6 week Dog Training Classes

Throughout my 20+ years working with animals in the vet field, through training, and taking care of them in their homes; I’ve compiled some key points that we will work on throughout this course that I feel all would help owners and their pups grow and strengthen their relationship and help your puppy become a well-rounded dog.

I’ve kept class sizes small for a few reasons. It’s a new environment and new friends for you and your pup and I want to make sure everyone is comfortable and able to learn and get the most out of our time together.

Class is taught by Michelle Pietras, Owner of Creature Connections Pet Sitting, Certified Dog Trainer, and former Certified Veterinary Technician.

Class Focus

Learn how to introduce and build on the basics through fun games and play: Sit, Wait/Stay, Touch, Leave it, Come, and Loose Leash Walking
Get your dog comfortable with being handled (putting on leashes and harnesses, grooming, and vet exams)
Tips on potty training, biting, and how to keep your pup mentally stimulated.
Puppy playtime and socialization with a focus on body language and good play manners!

What to Bring

Standard leash (no retractable leashes)
Some of your pup's kibble, along with treats in a treat pouch or sandwich sized Ziploc bag
Harness/brush (if you will be using them)
An excitement to further bond with your new puppy!

Class Location and Dates

Dates: Sundays from April 7 – May 12th

Time: 4:00-5:00 pm for 6 weeks

3160 E 165th Ave, Brighton CO 80602

Off Hwy 7 & York. 165th is a dirt road. We are near the end of the street on the left side; white fence with a dog mailbox (can’t miss us!)

Classes will be held outside. In the event of inclement weather, class will be cancelled and will be rescheduled on a future date.

***In the event you can not attend a class, I am happy to do a private one on one session at your home!****

Class Pricing

Price per Class: $35

Total for the 6 weeks: $210

Payment in full is due to reserve your spot.

Why you ask? Because investing in your puppy’s future is a commitment and by committing to this, chances are you are less likely to skip a class and miss a great learning opportunity for you and your pup!

After review of your application, we will reach out to you via phone to talk more and to get you enrolled. Your spot is locked in once payment is received.

Payment options are credit or debit card through our client portal system (more information will be sent to you during your enrollment process about this!), Venmo or Zelle transfers to creatureconnect@gmail.com.
